In our commitment to astronomy education and public outreach, AUI will be sponsoring an Astronomy Student Event at the upcoming Long Beach AAS Meeting. The event will take place on Tuesday, January 8th, from 11:00-2:00 in Exhibit Hall A of the Long Beach Convention Center. AUI will help bring approximately 250 local middle-school and high-school students to the event. Various exhibitors, including AUI’s National Radio Astronomy Observatory, will be present and students will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on educational activities.
If you are planning on attending the AAS Meeting in Long Beach, please attend the EPO event on Tuesday, and visit us at Booth #225 in the Exhibit Hall.
