Records Management


AUI maintains records of its operations to conform to accepted business practices, to satisfy contractual obligations, and to meet other legal requirements.

Each Research Center Director is responsible for establishing record retention and disposition programs as may be required by the sponsor(s) of its work, and, where appropriate, by the Officers of AUI. In addition to the contractually-required period of record retention, such considerations as operating requirements, federal, state and local laws, storage costs and user community requirements shall be considered when determining how long records should be retained.
